Sunny Roo was born in the heart of Australia, right in the centre of the outback. When he was born his parents knew he was different – his fur glowed like the sun! He was so different to all the other kangaroos in the herd; many of them were even scared of him.

Hardly any of the other kangaroos played with him, while he slept, they were awake. Unlike other kangaroos, Sunny Roo wasn’t nocturnal; he was up all day while the others slept. What made Sunny so special was he got all his energy from the sun and he was even able to store it, the sun was what made Sunny glow so bright.

With the power from the sun Sunny stored he was able to use it create power – he could do things like heat water up and give energy to other animals by simply touching them. He is able to bring warmth and heat to his friends on cold nights.

Sunny Roo has many friends, who were not scared of him because he was different. They made a group called the 'Green Team', they all love to teach people about how to be nice to the environment and they need your help!
